2.5 (p) Philo

Philo references the flood in several of his works, but nowhere does he discuss it more in detail than in his Questions and Answers on Genesis. Here follows a small selection of the most interesting Questions and Answers. This selection will almost exclusively focus on what Philo calls the “literal meaning” (as opposed to the allegorical meaning), because it tells us the most about the version of the text he had access to, and that is where he describes interpretations and understandings of the text that most likely can contain details that can be found in other flood stories. 5a, 15a, 17-18a, 21a, 28-29a, 30-31, 33, 35a, 47, 55a, 63a, 64 in: Near EastHebrew

See 1.1 (t.a) for another entry from Philo.
